Basketball Recap: Bancroft-Rosalie Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Bancroft-Rosalie entered their tilt with Stanton on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Stanton Mustangs by a score of 53-45.

Bancroft-Rosalie's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaya Snyder, who went 5 for 7 on her way to 13 points. Those 13 points gave Snyder a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kairece Morris, who went 6 of 12 en route to 13 points.

Stanton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kelby Pohlman, who posted nine points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Pohlman is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Skyler Siebrandt was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to seven boards and four blocks.

Bancroft-Rosalie is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.1 points per game. As for Stanton, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-7.

Bancroft-Rosalie will take on Pender at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Pender is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61 points per game this season. As for Stanton, they will challenge Wisner-Pilger at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
