Baseball Recap: Tippecanoe Valley Takes a Loss

Tippecanoe Valley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Glenn, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Vikings fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 7-5 on Thursday. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Hunter Paxton was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Braxton Alderfer was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Tippecanoe Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Glenn, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season.

While Tippecanoe Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
