Basketball Game Preview: East Ridge Pioneers vs. Red Bank Lions

East Ridge hasn't had much luck against Red Bank recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The East Ridge Pioneers will square off against the Red Bank Lions at 8:30 p.m. East Ridge will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, East Ridge beat Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts 54-46.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Red Bank). They blew past Chattanooga Central 89-28 on Friday. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 20 points or more this season.

East Ridge pushed their record up to 9-13 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. As for Red Bank, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

East Ridge came out on top in a nail-biter against Red Bank in their previous matchup last Tuesday, sneaking past 56-54. Does East Ridge have another victory up their sleeve, or will Red Bank turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
