Monahans skates past Mountain View with ease

The Monahans Loboes put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Mountain View 69-13 at home. Fans of Monahans have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Although Mountain View took the loss, they still got scores from Christopher Mendoza and Erick Dominguez.
Monahans' victory was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 10-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.1 points. As for Mountain View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
Monahans will head out on the road to face off against Clint at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Clint will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 897th, while Monahans is ranked 175th). As for Mountain View, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Pecos at 6:00 p.m. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Johnny Morales and Alejandro Lerma.
