Burke County extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Sean Vandiver. The Bears enjoyed a cozy 34-20 victory over the Laney Wildcats on Friday with plenty of help from Vandiver, who rushed for 201 yards and two TDs on only 11 carries, and also threw for 81 yards and one touchdown. His longest rush was for an incredible 93 yards.

Burke County's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Laney, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.

As of now, neither Burke County nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
