Volleyball Game Preview: Nordhoff Rangers vs. South El Monte Eagles + Official Tickets

The Nordhoff Rangers will square off against the South El Monte Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Nordhoff is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Fairmont Prep with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Rangers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Meanwhile, South El Monte made easy work of JW North on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

South El Monte's win came from a few key players Nordhoff will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Annett Cervantes, who had 22 digs and five aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Daniella Ceballos, who had 26 assists and 13 digs.

South El Monte's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Nordhoff, their win bumped their record up to 18-9.
