Caldwell Academy lost against the Forsyth Country Day Furies back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The match between Caldwell Academy and Forsyth Country Day wasn't particularly close, with Caldwell Academy falling 36-22. Caldwell Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Forsyth Country Day found their leader in underclassman Lila Kelly, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Gigi Lyons, who scored eight points.
Caldwell Academy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Forsyth Country Day, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
Caldwell Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Forsyth Country Day, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Calvary Day School at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Forsyth Country Day is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Calvary Day School in North Carolina (Forsyth Country Day is ranked 182nd, while Calvary Day School is ranked 437th).
