Football Recap: Clinton Prairie Falls to Frontier in First Game of Season

Clinton Prairie unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 37-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Frontier Falcons on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gophers of the 36-26 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Defeat or not, Clinton Prairie got some senior leadership from Braiden Jarboe and Kye Jacobs. Jarboe gained 191 total yards and a touchdown, while Jacobs picked up 166 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Clinton Prairie has already played their next matchup, a 50-0 victory against Frankfort on the 29th. As for Frontier, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 54-21 win against Winamac on the 29th.
