Volleyball Recap: Glencoe Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Glencoe waltzed into their game on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the White Plains Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in August.

Glencoe was led to victory by Gracyn Bunt and Kinlee Montgomery. Bunt had 11 digs, while Montgomery had 17 assists and six aces. That's the most aces Montgomery has posted over her last ten matches.

Glencoe's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for White Plains, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Glencoe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Ohatchee on the 13th. As for White Plains, they will challenge Hokes Bluff at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
