Softball Game Preview: Upper Perkiomen Indians vs. Spring-Ford Rams

Upper Perkiomen hasn't had much luck against Spring-Ford recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Rams at 4:00 p.m. Upper Perkiomen has given up an average of 9.7 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Upper Perkiomen is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They lost 16-1 to Methacton. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Upper Perkiomen saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eva McCormick, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Spring-Ford entered their tilt with Owen J. Roberts on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Wildcats. The Rams' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Spring-Ford pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Upper Perkiomen, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
