Softball Recap: Fowler Has No Trouble Against St. Patrick

Fowler won the last time they faced St. Patrick and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Shamrocks with a sharp 10-1 win. Considering the Eagles have won nine games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Fowler and bumps their season record up to 14-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for St. Patrick, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Fowler didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-10 victory against DeWitt on the 9th. As for St. Patrick, they have also already played their next game, a 14-6 defeat against Petoskey on the 10th.
