Bess threw for 87 yards and two touchdowns and Zelenka had 64 yards receiving. Marcus Denham helped Wilson's passing attack out by catching three balls for 23 yards.

Connor Eilert made the biggest impact on defense this week as St. John's/Tipton Catholic topped Logan. The 6-foot-0 junior grabbed one interception and forced one fumble.

Jason McDaniel was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 278 yards on 28 carries as Southern Cloud lost to the Mustangs. Teammate Dakota Cooper added to the ground attack by rushing for 11 yards.

Southern Cloud's McDaniel needs only 57 yards against Burrton next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.

A big matchup in Northern Plains (8 Man) this week will be when Lakeside takes on the Bluejays. Lakeside is currently in 11th, while St. John's/Tipton Catholic is in second.

Sylvan-Lucas made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 500 from 756. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 66-20 victory over Tony Brokes' team last week.
