Basketball Recap: Davis Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Davis won the last time they faced Sunnyside and things went their way on Saturday too. The Davis Pirates sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-50 victory over the Sunnyside Grizzlies. The 52-point effort marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Davis' win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Sunnyside, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Davis will head out to face off against Federal Way on Monday. Federal Way will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Davis surely won't give up without a fight. Sunnyside has already played their next contest (against Moses Lake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
