League recap: New Mexico School for the Deaf rolls against Colorado School for the Deaf & Blind

A-6 Southwest (6 Man) recap Sept. 26, 2012

Hanover led A-6 Southwest (6 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 69 points on Primero. Dustin Koehler threw for 176 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

Edison's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. David Everhart threw for 150 and four touchdowns and Gary Garnhart had 130 yards receiving. On the ground Will Hotop chipped in 119 yards. Hotop helped Edison's passing attack out by catching one ball for 20 yards.

The Bulldogs' James Lujan and Josh Huey have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Lujan has thrown for 751 yards this season, while Huey, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 17 catches for 333 yards. Garnhart from the Eagles leads the league in rushing with 590 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Colorado School for the Deaf & Blind takes on Primero. At the moment, the Bulldogs are in fifth, while Mark Fernandez's team is in third.

Colorado School for the Deaf & Blind suffered the largest drop in the standings this week, falling from third to fifth in A-6 Southwest (6 Man). The fall was the result of a 64-13 loss to New Mexico School for the Deaf last week.
