Basketball Game Preview: Hialeah Thoroughbreds vs. Mourning Sharks

Hialeah is 7-1 against Mourning since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Thoroughbreds will head out on the road to face off against the Sharks at 5:00 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Hialeah has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Mourning will arrive with three straight wins.

On Monday, Hialeah was beaten by Sports Leadership & Management 59-23. The contest marked the Thoroughbreds' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mourning hadn't done well against North Miami Beach recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Sharks claimed a resounding 65-28 victory over the Chargers.

Hialeah's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mourning, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Hialeah took their victory against Mourning in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 68-44 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thoroughbreds since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
