Volleyball Recap: Mission Comes Up Short

Mission lost against Galileo back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bears came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Bears haven't been shut out since back in April.

Mission might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Galileo: every set was decided by exactly three points. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 25-22.

Mission is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6. As for Galileo, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-14 record this season.

Mission does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Galileo, they will face off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
