Basketball Recap: Gaylesville Comes Up Short

Gaylesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat. They were dealt a 66-30 loss at the hands of the Elmore County Panthers.

Gaylesville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Elmore County, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Gaylesville has already played their next contest, a 66-53 loss against Verbena on the 25th. As for Elmore County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 57-20 victory against Beauregard on the 28th.
