Basketball Recap: Montbello Skates Past Hinkley with Ease

Montbello can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 55-10 win over the Hinkley Thunder. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Warriors have posted since December 7, 2024.

Montbello was led to victory by Juanita Dixon and Yaretzi Barraza. Dixon went 7 of 12 en route to 22 points, while Barraza posted ten points. The dominant performance also gave Barraza a new career-high in assists (four).

Montbello's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12. As for Hinkley, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
