Volleyball Recap: South Stokes Comes Up Short

South Stokes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Mount Airy Granite Bears. Sauras fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Granite Bears since Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 25-18.

South Stokes' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mount Airy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, South Stokes will welcome Forbush at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mount Airy, they will head out to take on East Wilkes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
