Basketball Game Preview: Jackson Center Tigers vs. Botkins Trojans

Jackson Center is 2-8 against Botkins since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Jackson Center Tigers will welcome the Botkins Trojans at 1:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

It was a proper cat-fight when Jackson Center challenged Houston on Tuesday. Jackson Center fell 35-28 to Houston.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 57-28, which was the final score in Botkins' tilt against Anna on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 418th, while the Rockets are ranked 179th).

Botkins has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Jackson Center, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.
