Basketball Recap: Jakob Hayes Key Part of a Team Effort in Trojans Win

There's no place like home for Pe Ell, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They snuck past the Oakville Acorns with a 35-31 win on Tuesday. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 45-42 victory the Acorns walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pe Ell to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jakob Hayes, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Liam McGrath, who posted seven points and five steals.
