Basketball Recap: Cape Cod Academy Comes Up Short

Cape Cod Academy lost against Nantucket back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cape Cod Academy Seahawks were dealt a 73-40 defeat at the hands of the Nantucket Whalers. The Seahawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cape Cod Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Nantucket, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cape Cod Academy will face off against Sturgis West at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Nantucket, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Ayer Shirley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
