Football Recap: San Gorgonio Comes Up Short

After soaring to 32 points the game before, San Gorgonio was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They were dealt a 36-6 loss at the hands of the Ramona Rams. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Despite the loss, San Gorgonio still got an impressive performance from Ava Bogarin, who picked up 104 receiving yards and one score. The Spartans are 2-1 when Bogarin posts 80 or more receiving yards, but 1-3 otherwise.

San Gorgonio didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Bogarin, Angelina Garcia, and Leylani Lopez picked up one apiece.

San Gorgonio now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Ramona, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
