With a playoff win on the line, Clovis North rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the McLane Highlanders a 2-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Broncos sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Garik Mkrtchyan and Nixon Hansen scored both of Clovis North's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 29 goals.

Clovis North's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-1. As for McLane, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.
