After a string of six wins, the Black Hills Wolves's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They suffered a rough 59-38 loss at the hands of WF West. Black Hills has struggled against WF West recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Black Hills' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Tyler Venable, who scored 22 points, and Ashley Harris who scored six points along with 13 rebounds. The game was Venable's seventh in a row with at least ten points.
Black Hills struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Black Hills' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-1. As for WF West, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.
