Recap: Marshall Phoenix vs. Wallenberg Bulldogs
The Marshall Phoenix lost against the Wallenberg Bulldogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Marshall had to suffer through a rough 62-30 loss at the hands of Wallenberg. Marshall has not had much luck with Wallenberg recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Marshall had strong showings from Martel Peters, who scored ten points along with four steals, and Jordan Lewis, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds and two steals. Peters hasn't dropped below four steals for four straight games.
Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Wallenberg, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season.
Marshall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wallenberg also has no future games currently scheduled.
