Baseball Recap: Warren Takes a Loss

Warren extended their losing streak to 12 on Monday, dropping their season record down to 0-12 in the process. They lost 9-2 to the Fort LeBoeuf Bison. Dragons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Bison since on Monday.

Warren saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Snyder, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

As for Fort LeBoeuf, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory they have posted against Warren since May 9, 2022.

On Fort LeBoeuf's side, Ethan Bliley was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits Bliley has posted since back in April of 2024. Nick Askins was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Warren didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-5 defeat against Meadville on the 6th. As for Fort LeBoeuf, they have also already played their next game, a 23-11 loss against Cathedral Prep on the 7th.
