Chico proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 11) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Lassen Grizzlies 5-4. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won seven in a row.

Chico let Jaxxon Tweedt and Henry Heckathorn run wild. Tweedt went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one double, while Heckathorn went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. Tweedt is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Chico hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters every time they've taken the field this season.
