Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Flagler Palm Coast couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 36-35 to the Spruce Creek Hawks. It was the first time this season that the Bulldogs let down their fans at home.

Flagler Palm Coast's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-2. As for Spruce Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
