Softball Recap: Valley Vikings vs. Strasburg Indians
After flying high against Platte Valley last Tuesday, Valley came back down to earth. The Valley Vikings lost 12-0 to the Strasburg Indians on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 19-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Strasburg, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.
Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-0 loss against Sterling on the 28th. As for Strasburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-2 victory against Brush on the 28th.
