Basketball Recap: Richland Piles Up the Points Against Pisgah

Richland had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They claimed a resounding 49-20 victory over the Pisgah Dragons. The Rangers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Easton Channell and Braxton Lindsey certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Channell posted six points, while Lindsey had five points.

Richland's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-4. As for Pisgah, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Richland will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Andrew's Episcopal at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th. As for Pisgah, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-46 loss against Stringer on the 10th.
