Basketball Recap: Hyde Park Finds Playoff Glory Versus Southwest Christian School

Hyde Park had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 42-35 victory over the Southwest Christian School Eagles on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Hyde Park pushed their record up to 29-3 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.2 points over those games. As for Southwest Christian School, their loss dropped their record down to 24-10.

Looking ahead, Hyde Park will face off against Midland Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Midland Christian will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Hyde Park surely won't give up without a fight. Southwest Christian School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
