Volleyball Recap: Fort Edward Flying Forts vs. Oneonta Yellowjackets
After flying high against Granville on Friday, Fort Edward came back down to earth. The Flying Forts fell 2-0 to the Oneonta Yellowjackets on Saturday. The loss was the Flying Forts' first of the season.
Despite the loss, Fort Edward saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Elizabeth Brown had six digs and six blocks.
Having lost for the first time this season, Fort Edward fell to 10-1. As for Oneonta, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
Coming up, Fort Edward will take on Queensbury in a tournament on Saturday. As for Oneonta, they will head out on the road to take on Chenango Forks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
