It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ridge Point had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They never let the Sam Rayburn Texans get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 17 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory was the 15th in a row for Ridge Point, bringing their record for this year to 21-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those 15 contests. As for Sam Rayburn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11-1 record this season.

Ridge Point will challenge Summer Creek on Monday. The two teams have allowed few goals on average, (Summer Creek 0.3, Ridge Point 0.4) so any goals scored will be well earned. Sam Rayburn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
