Wade Christian Academy suffers fourth straight loss on the road

Wade Christian Academy's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a rough 89-6 loss at the hands of Hope Academy. Wade Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hope Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Hope Academy was led to victory by Ja'vion Jenkins and Dwayne Foreman III. Jenkins dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds, while Foreman III dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 steals. The match was Foreman III's 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zion Baako, who scored 11 points along with nine steals.

Wade Christian Academy's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-2. As for Hope Academy, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Wade Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on City of Life Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 11, 2024. Hope Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Umatilla at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Umatilla is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
