Recap: Lansdowne Vikings vs. Eastern Tech Mavericks
The Lansdowne Vikings had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 73-36 defeat at the hands of Eastern Tech on Friday. Lansdowne lost against Eastern Tech in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 49-31 score last time.
Eastern Tech's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jericho Wondeye, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Adrian Pefianco was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Lansdowne's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Eastern Tech, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lansdowne will take on North County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastern Tech, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Benjamin Franklin at 4:00 p.m. on December 11th.
