Basketball Recap: Von Steuben Takes a Loss

Von Steuben was the 56-53 winner over Providence-St. Mel when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Von Steuben Panthers took a 59-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Providence-St. Mel Knights on Sunday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Von Steuben's record now sits at 6-8. As for Providence-St. Mel, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.

Von Steuben has already played their next matchup (against North Grand), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Providence-St. Mel will be playing at home against De La Salle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
