After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Central, Stryker was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Gorham Fayette Eagles with a sharp 12-2 win. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Jacob Myers made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with six stolen bases and four runs.
