Volleyball Recap: Orange Takes a Loss

Orange lost against Lutheran West on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions came up short against the Longhorns, falling 3-0. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Orange was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lutheran West's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20, 25-23.

Lutheran West can attribute much of their success to Hannah Bryda, who had 13 digs and three aces.

Orange's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Lutheran West, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Orange is set to square off against their familiar foe West Geauga at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lutheran West will face off against rival Harvey at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
