Volleyball Recap: Park Vista Comes Up Short

Park Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Atlantic Christian Sharks.

Jonathan Gonzalez was nothing short of spectacular for Atlantic Christian: he had five digs and four aces. That's the most aces Gonzalez has posted over his last five matches.

Park Vista's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Atlantic Christian, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Park Vista wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Seminole Ridge on the 11th. As for Atlantic Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against True North Classical Academy on the 8th.
