Basketball Recap: Jennings Triumphs

Jennings's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 41-38 victory from a begrudging Bulldogs squad. That's more bragging rights for they, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jennings' win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Acadiana, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jennings and Kinder will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on December 30th. Acadiana and Church Point will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Acadiana is facing Church Point at the right time seeing as Church Point is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
