Volleyball Game Preview: Timber Creek Falcons vs. Southlake Carroll Dragons

Timber Creek is 0-10 against Southlake Carroll since October of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Falcons will take on the Dragons at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Friday, Timber Creek made easy work of Keller Central and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Timber Creek not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Keller Central between 13 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Southlake Carroll got the win against Trinity on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-6, 25-18.

Southlake Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Timber Creek, they now have a winning record of 15-14.

Timber Creek suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Southlake Carroll in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
