Softball Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lee's offense. They came up short against the Port Neches-Groves Indians on Tuesday, falling 16-0. The Ganders' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Lee's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Port Neches-Groves, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Lee and Port Neches-Groves' offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Lee will challenge Clear Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, a squad that's only allowed two runs per game. Lee is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season. Similarly, Port Neches-Groves and Kingwood Park (who has only given up 2.8 runs per game) will meet at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
