Basketball Recap: Evans Has No Trouble Against Windermere

Evans was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Windermere on Tuesday. The Evans Trojans were the clear victor by a 44-24 margin over the Windermere Wolverines. The Trojans pushed the score to 35-12 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wolverines cut but never quite recovered from.

Windermere's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordin Binkley, who posted six points.

Evans' win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Windermere, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Evans wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-11 victory against Lyman on the 8th. As for Windermere, they will take on Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Horizon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.2 points per game this season.
