College Station gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tomball Memorial Wildcats, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since October 22, 2024.

College Station was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (107-102), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 18-25, 19-25, 25-21, 15-13.
