Kellenberg Memorial is 6-1 against St. John the Baptist since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Firebirds will head out on the road to face off against the Cougars at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kellenberg Memorial has eight straight victories, St. John the Baptist has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Friday, Kellenberg Memorial made easy work of Holy Trinity and carried off a 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12, 25-18.

St. John the Baptist kicked off their season on the road back in March and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against Kellenberg Memorial, falling 3-0.

While St. John the Baptist was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-20.

Kellenberg Memorial pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for St. John the Baptist, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Kellenberg Memorial's way against St. John the Baptist in their previous matchup back in March, as Kellenberg Memorial made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Firebirds since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
