Softball Recap: Palm Beach Gardens Makes It 13 in a Row at Home

Palm Beach Gardens proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders 5-4. The Gators haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Shea Towns spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on eight hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brynn Dion-Catasus, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.
