Softball Recap: Hobbs Eagles vs. Roswell Coyotes

Hobbs put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season on Friday. Everything went their way against the Roswell Coyotes as the Hobbs Eagles made off with a 12-1 win. Winning may never get old, but Hobbs sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Ailea Trevizo tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Anaya Rodriguez, who fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in three or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaiya Boyle, who went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and a double.

On Roswell's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lauren Lucero, who went 1-for-2 with an RBI.
