After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pinckney, Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They took down the Parkway Christian Eagles 43-24. The Sentinels' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the defeat, Parkway Christian had strong showings from Angelina Marchesi, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds, and Tamerah Peterson, who posted eight points, to go along with seven steals and six boards. Peterson has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 25 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Bella Flora, who put up three points and five steals.

Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Parkway Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
