Football Game Preview: Stringer vs. East Marion

Stringer have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on East Marion at 7:00 PM. Stringer have bulldozed their previous four opponents, so East Marion might have their hands full.

Stringer might be getting used to good results now that the squad has eight wins in a row. Everything came up roses for them against Salem last Friday as the team secured a 54-0 win. Senior Cayleb Dyess was the offensive standout of the match for Stringer, as he passed for 116 yards and 3 touchdowns. Dyess has been a consistent playmaker for Stringer as this was the 8th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, East Marion put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They took the game and then some with a 80-44 victory over North Forrest. The rankings were on East Marion's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.

Stringer didn't have too much trouble with East Marion the last time the two teams met as they won 50-34. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
